Dr Jacquelyn Knight is a Clinical Neuropsychologist and Clinical Psychologist and who is passionate about helping others to reach their full potential in a safe, warm, and non-judgemental environment. She has experience treating mood difficulties (e.g. depression, bipolar affective disorder), stress and anxiety (e.g. social anxiety, specific phobias, generalised anxiety, perfectionism and self-esteem) and adjustment, grief, and loss (e.g. to health conditions, traumatic or acquired brain injury, or other sudden life changes). Jacquelyn takes a collaborative approach with her clients, providing short- or long-term evidence-based treatment to help them to reach their goals.

Jacquelyn also has interest and experience in neuropsychological assessment and intervention across the lifespan, for conditions including traumatic brain injury, stroke and vascular disease, oncology, systemic diseases, dementia, developmental conditions, intellectual disabilities, and general health conditions. She takes a holistic approach to neuropsychological care, and aims to help her clients to understand their relative strengths, weaknesses, and resources to maximise their functioning and independence, and to create a fulfilling life.

Jacquelyn completed a Doctor of Psychology at the University of Queensland and has since worked in both inpatient and outpatient roles within Brisbane’s tertiary hospitals. She holds registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA) in both Clinical Psychology and Clinical Neuropsychology. She is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS).
