Dr Sharpley Hsieh

Sharpley completed her Doctorate in Clinical Neuropsychology degree at the University of Sydney and a PhD at the University of New South Wales. She has endorsement as a Clinical Neuropsychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia. Previously, Sharpley has worked in dementia and ageing research particularly in the fields of healthy ageing and unique dementia syndromes such as frontotemporal dementia. She was awarded a prestigious NHMRC-ARC Dementia Development Research Fellowship after her PhD and has published in high-impact journals such as Brain. Currently, Sharpley enjoys clinical work with clients both in public and private sectors.
Sharpley has specialist experience in neuropsychological assessment of dementias and is also interested in the cognitive sequelae and well-being of adults with neurological conditions, acquired brain injury, stroke and epilepsy. She also has a strong passion for supporting older Australian adults, their caregivers and family.
