National Psychology Week runs from 9 – 15 November 2014. This is an initiative of the Australian Psychological Society.

This year the focus is on the management of stress to increase overall wellbeing, with a particular emphasis on the role that lifestyle factors play in stress and wellbeing. The aim is also to raise awareness of strategies that can be used to achieve a healthier lifestyle.

So next week is the perfect time to do some self analysis of your own wellbeing and stress. How are you fairing in the following lifestyle areas?

  1. Sleep
  2. Exercise
  3. Healthy Eating
  4. Relaxation
  5. Self-Talk
  6. Balance

If you are not functioning as you wish to in one more more of these areas, and this is affecting your overall wellbeing, perhaps now is a good time to make some changes. I will upload some information and tips regarding this topic in my following posts.
