Kate is a Clinical Psychologist with diverse experience across both public and private health settings, including acute inpatient units, emergency and crisis services and community mental health outpatient services.
She has developed particular expertise in the assessment and management of acute psychological distress and complex presentations, including individuals experiencing severe mood disturbances, trauma-related conditions, personality vulnerabilities and psychotic disorders. She also works with clients navigating anxiety, depression, stress, adjustment difficulties, and grief.
Kate is known for her calm, grounded, and client-centred approach, particularly in high-pressure and crisis contexts. She provides structured, evidence-based assessment and intervention, drawing on a range of therapeutic models to respond effectively to complexity and risk.
Her work focuses on stabilisation, enhancing emotional regulation, and supporting clients to develop practical coping strategies, while also addressing underlying patterns that contribute to ongoing stress. Kate is committed to supporting clients towards improved functioning, resilience, and quality of life.
