Dr Teagan King

Teagan is a registered psychologist with a Doctor of Psychology (Clinical Psychology and Clinical Neuropsychology) degree from the University of Queensland. She has experience across hospital, community, and private practice settings delivering therapy and neuropsychological assessments to individuals across the lifespan with a variety of presentations.

With a strong emphasis on empathy and acceptance, Teagan is deeply committed to building a therapeutic relationship that forms the foundation of her practice. She tailors evidence-based therapies, to meet the unique needs of each individual, ensuring a personalised approach to mental health care. Teagan’s practice is trauma-informed and neuroaffirming, reflecting her commitment to understanding and respecting the diverse experiences of her clients.

She has interest areas in neurodiversity, anxiety disorders, depression, adjustment and life transitions, trauma, borderline personality disorder, and grief and loss. She also enjoys assessing the impact of acquired brain injuries (ABI), neurodevelopmental (e.g., ADHD, ASD, learning disabilities), and neurodegenerative disorders.
