About Lorryn Delle Baite 1

Lorryn Delle Baite completed her Masters degree in Clinical Psychology at James Cook University in Townsville, and is an endorsed Clinical Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia. She has also completed additional training in the area of Clinical Neuropsychology at The University of Queensland, and is currently an approved Clinical Neuropsychology registrar with the Psychology Board of Australia. Lorryn has worked in both the private and public sectors, and has gained experience within tertiary hospitals such as the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH) Neurology department and Memory Clinic, Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) Neurosciences department, The Mater Hospital Neurosciences department, and The Townsville University Hospital Sub-Acute Care Unit (SACU). She has also had experience within community psychiatric services.

 Lorryn has experience and a particular interest in the provision of Neuropsychological Assessment for diagnostic clarification and rehabilitation/ treatment planning. She has experience in Neuropsychological Assessment for a range of conditions, such as Traumatic Brain Injuries, dementia and other neurodegenerative conditions, epilepsy, stroke and vascular disease, tumours, inflammatory immune conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, and neurodevelopmental conditions. Along with working in private practice, she is currently employed as a Senior Clinical Psychologist/ Neuropsychology registrar within The Mater Hospital Centre for Neurosciences where she has a focus on pre- and post-surgical assessments for treatment-refractory epilepsy.

 Lorryn utilizes a range of evidence-based assessment and intervention approaches. She is passionate about assisting individuals to identify and manage the cognitive, emotional, and behavioural sequalae of various neurological disorders and diseases, with the aim of fostering functional independence.
